These Terms and Conditions govern your use of Gopexly, a social investing platform built for Nigerian Exchange (NGX) market participants. By creating an account or using any part of the platform, you agree to be bound by these terms in full. If you do not agree, you must not use Gopexly.
Gopexly is a social investing platform that enables users to track Nigerian stock portfolios, share investment insights, access market data, complete investing education courses, and interact with other investors. Gopexly is not a stockbroker, financial adviser, or licensed investment service. Nothing on this platform constitutes financial advice, investment recommendations, or a solicitation to buy or sell any security.
Gopexly operates as an information and community platform only. All investment decisions are made solely by you and you bear full responsibility for any financial outcome resulting from those decisions.
You must be at least 18 years old to use Gopexly. By registering, you confirm that you are of legal age and legally capable of entering into a binding agreement. Gopexly reserves the right to verify age and identity at any time and suspend accounts where eligibility cannot be confirmed.
You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials. You agree to notify Gopexly immediately at admin@gopexly.com if you suspect any unauthorised access to your account. Gopexly will not be liable for any loss or damage arising from unauthorised use of your account.
You may not create more than one personal account. You may not create an account on behalf of another person without their explicit consent. Accounts created using false information will be permanently suspended without notice.
Gopexly offers a free tier with limited features and a Pro tier accessible via paid subscription. The features available on each tier are described on the pricing page and may change at Gopexly's discretion with reasonable notice. Pro subscriptions are billed in Nigerian Naira (NGN) and processed through Paystack, a licensed payment processor.
Subscriptions automatically renew at the end of each billing period unless cancelled. You may cancel at any time by contacting support. No refunds are issued for partial subscription periods except where required by applicable Nigerian consumer protection law. Gopexly reserves the right to offer, modify, or discontinue the Pro tier at any time.
Gopexly sources NGX stock price data from third-party providers including NGX Pulse. Prices are refreshed periodically and are not real-time. There may be delays, inaccuracies, or data gaps. Gopexly does not guarantee the accuracy, completeness, or timeliness of any market data displayed on the platform.
You must not rely solely on data displayed on Gopexly for trading decisions. You should verify all pricing information independently through your licensed stockbroker or the official NGX website before executing any trade.
When you post content on Gopexly — including text, images, portfolio data, or investment commentary — you grant Gopexly a non-exclusive, royalty-free, worldwide licence to display, distribute, and use that content within the platform for the purpose of delivering the service to other users.
You are solely responsible for content you post. You must not post content that: is false, misleading, or designed to manipulate other users' investment decisions; constitutes market manipulation or insider trading; is defamatory, abusive, discriminatory, or illegal; infringes any copyright, trademark, or third-party intellectual property right; or promotes any financial product in exchange for undisclosed compensation.
Gopexly reserves the right to remove any content and suspend any account that violates these standards, without prior notice and without liability. Users found engaging in deliberate market manipulation or pump-and-dump activity will be permanently banned and reported to the Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) Nigeria where applicable.
Gopexly AI is an AI-powered assistant designed to help users understand NGX stocks, interpret their portfolio, and explore investing concepts. Responses generated by Gopexly AI are for informational and educational purposes only. They are not financial advice and must not be treated as such.
Gopexly AI may produce inaccurate, incomplete, or outdated information. You must exercise independent judgement and consult a licensed financial adviser before making any investment decision based on AI-generated content. Gopexly accepts no liability for any loss suffered as a result of acting on Gopexly AI output.
Investment clubs created on Gopexly are informal social communities for discussion and education purposes only. They do not constitute registered investment vehicles, collective investment schemes, or pooled investment funds under Nigerian law. Club creators and members must not solicit, pool, or manage real funds through the Gopexly platform. Any such activity is strictly prohibited and may be reported to the SEC Nigeria.
Gopexly may offer referral rewards including free Pro access or credits. Referral rewards are subject to verification and may be withheld or reversed if fraud, abuse, or gaming of the system is detected. Gopexly reserves the right to modify or terminate the referral programme at any time without liability.
You must not:
- Use Gopexly to distribute spam, unsolicited messages, or promotional content not authorised by Gopexly.
- Scrape, crawl, or extract data from the platform using automated tools.
- Attempt to reverse engineer, hack, or compromise the security of the platform.
- Impersonate another person, company, or entity.
- Use the platform in any way that violates Nigerian law or regulation.
- Sell, transfer, or sublicense your account to any third party.
All content, branding, design, code, data, and technology comprising the Gopexly platform are the exclusive property of Gopexly and its licensors. You may not reproduce, copy, adapt, distribute, or create derivative works from any Gopexly intellectual property without prior written consent.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Gopexly, its officers, employees, and affiliates shall not be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, consequential, or punitive damages arising from: your use of or inability to use the platform; any loss of investment or financial loss; inaccurate market data; decisions made based on content posted by other users or generated by AI; or any unauthorised access to your account.
In jurisdictions where limitations of liability are restricted by law, Gopexly's total aggregate liability shall not exceed the amount you paid to Gopexly in the 30 days preceding the event giving rise to the claim.
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Gopexly and its directors, employees, agents, and licensors from any claim, liability, loss, expense, or demand (including legal fees) arising from your use of the platform, content you post, or your breach of these terms.
Gopexly may suspend or permanently terminate your account at any time, with or without notice, if you violate these terms or if Gopexly determines that your use poses a risk to other users, the platform, or third parties. You may delete your account at any time through the app settings. Upon termination, your right to access the platform ceases immediately.
Gopexly may update these terms from time to time. Material changes will be notified to registered users via the platform or by email. Continued use of Gopexly after notification of changes constitutes acceptance of the revised terms. The current version of these terms is always available at gopexly.com/terms.
These terms are governed by and shall be construed in accordance with the laws of the Federal Republic of Nigeria. Any dispute arising under these terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Lagos State, Nigeria, unless resolved by mutual agreement.
