NVDA: Recovery Fades as Sellers Regain Control

A rebound only carries real significance if the price can stay above the breakout level. In NVIDIA's case, that has yet to happen. After climbing into the $196–197 resistance range, the stock quickly lost steam and dropped back below the EMA34, indicating that buyers have not yet gained enough control to reverse the short-term trend. Outside of the chart setup, investor sentiment toward AI-related stocks has become more cautious as markets wait for upcoming quarterly earnings and additional signals from the Federal Reserve. This has caused buying activity to ease after the strong recovery recorded toward the end of last month. On the 1H timeframe, the EMA34 remains below the EMA89, while both moving averages continue to slope downward, reinforcing the prevailing bearish trend. Multiple rejections within the $196.50–200.00 resistance zone show that sellers are still firmly protecting this area. Until NVDA can break back above it, the more likely outlook is a decline toward $192.00, with the next major psychological support located around $190.00.
