Into Wednesday: Stanbic qualifies tomorrow. Here's the setup

Tuesday's close: the NGX All-Share Index eased 0.09% to 247,513.63, and market value slipped about ₦145bn to ₦160.71trn. Breadth was basically flat (27 up, 27 down), and the index is still up 59.06% year to date. Quiet day on the headline, busy under the surface. Three things for today's session: 1. Stanbic's clock hits tomorrow. STANBIC logo$STANBIC closed Tuesday at ₦168.00 (+3.07%). Its ₦4.50 interim dividend goes to whoever is on the register at close of business on Thursday, Oct 15. Payment is Nov 13 (cash or scrip). One more full session before that cut-off. 2. Banks stay in the mix. AC$ACCESSCORP led volume again (about 57m shares), and GTCO logo$GTCO led by value. After Monday's sharper bank-led drop, Tuesday was softer but still heavy in the financial names. 3. The Dangote Refinery IPO window is still open. The offer of 4.1bn shares at ₦525 now runs to Oct 27 after the SEC-approved extension. Listing on NGX is expected after allotment in November. Tuesday's top movers: eTranzact +9.96% (₦14.35), WAPIC +7.83% (₦2.48); Legend Internet -6.85% (₦3.40). Tracking any of these? Drop them in your Gopexly portfolio so each day's move shows up against your own holdings. Not financial advice.
