NGX wrap: second green day, but barely. Oil & Gas did the heavy lifting.
Thursday closed almost flat. The All-Share Index edged up 33.48 points (+0.01%) to 247,707.13, and market capitalisation rose to ₦160.83trn — about ₦21.74bn added. Year-to-date sits near +59.2%.
Oil & Gas led the session: Aradel Holdings jumped 7.14% to ₦1,499.90, and Oando rose 1.16% to ₦34.95. Banking also ticked higher, with ETI, First HoldCo and UBA among the gainers.
On percentage movers, Zichis Agro and Multi-Trex both hit the +10% limit. Enamelware (−9.95% to ₦36.65) and NASCON (−9.48% to ₦171) led the losers. MTN Nigeria slipped 2.84% to ₦820 and dragged the Premium Index.
About 286.68m shares changed hands across 30,186 deals. More stocks rose than fell (26 vs 24).
