5 red days in a row: should you worry?

The NGX All-Share Index has now closed lower for five straight sessions. On Tuesday it slipped 0.16% to 250,273.50, and about ₦256bn came off total market value. Banks did most of the damage: the NGX Banking Index fell 1.25%, led by First HoldCo (-5.09%). Two things worth noticing before you panic-sell: 1. Volume dropped about 34% to 579m shares. A pullback on thin volume usually looks more like profit-taking than a rush for the exits. 2. The ASI is still up about 61% year to date. After a run like that, a pause is normal. What I'm watching: whether banks find buyers at these levels, and whether volume picks up on red days (a bigger warning sign) or on green ones. Are you buying this dip, holding, or trimming? Tell me in the comments 👇 (Not financial advice. Do your own research.)
